Our Story

Briscycle was founded by husband and wife team Andrew and Julianna in 2014. Andrew had a background in cycling, both as a cyclist himself and as a bicycle repair apprentice in his hometown in Hungary. He led group rides and fulfilled various roles in the trade before permanently relocating to the UK with Julianna in 2006 and starting their new family.

After working in other roles for many years, they decided to open Briscycle, utilising Andrew's passion and allowing for greater focus on family. As the proud owners of Briscycle, they are active member of the community and feel passionately about keeping Bristol's cycling community safe. The shop has a family spirit with Andrew now mentoring the next generation of cycle repair technicians.
